Jacob is a 6 year old Orange cat who needs a new home. Jacob weighs 10-15 pounds. This cat is located in Clayton, NC 27527.

Jacob is a very loving cat. He loves to curl up on a bed and sleep the day away. He also loves to be outside and play. He is new to being an outdoor cat so he doesn't know all the "rules" or have all the street smarts that most outside cats have. I think the ideal home would be someone who needs a good mouser and has some property for him to run on. Not a home near a highway. He likes to come and go as he pleases so a cat door would be good for him.

Reason for surrender: When we adopted him we wanted an indoor only cat and he has wanted to be an outdoor cat. He has recently started to urinate on all our furniture until we allowed him to be an outdoor cat. Since it is cold outside we do allow him back in at night. He is a sweet cat that sleeps on my son's bed. Which is our other problem. My son is allergic to cats and that is another reason to find him a home that is better suited to him.
