Gray Girl is at Goathouse now

NOTE: This cat is in need from the community. This is listed as a courtesy, and the animal does not live at the Refuge. The Goathouse Refuge is not responsible for any problems with the animals or with the adoption process. Please contact the owner directly for more information.

Gray Girl is a young gray long-haired tabby cat who needs a new home. She weighs 8 pounds and is Indoor only. Gray Girl is now living at Goathouse Refuge in Pittsboro, NC, and her adoption fee has been sponsored! Come meet her!

This little girl is very friendly and affectionate. She is playful and will make toys out of anything she finds, including leaves and post-it notes. She is social and people-oriented - for example, she's not allowed in the bedroom, so she will come sit in front of the bedroom door and put her paws under the door. However, she's also very quiet and generally only vocalizes little peeping sounds, and only when she sees that you are about to put food in her bowl.

Are you the owner: As far as I know.
Reason for surrender: Our lease does not allow pets and we have a new baby on the way so moving is not an option right now.
How did you acquire: She literally appeared at our doorstep. After a month of putting out flyers, Craigslist posting, rescue site posting, we think her owners are not searching for her. They had moved out not long before she appeared.
How long owned: Approximately 4 weeks.
