Misty is a 9+ year old Black Persian cat who needs a new home. Misty is Indoor only. This cat is located in Dunn, NC 28334.

Misty is a very sweet girl that we pulled from Harnett County Shelter to foster about 2 months ago. She was in very bad condition but with alot of TLC she is doing great! She is an older cat being 9 but still has alot of love to give! She is great with my kids, our other cat-who is a young cat, and out little dog. She would do great in any situation as far as noise goes. With 2 small children its never quiet in my house! I would love to see her go to an older person or someone without large dogs or lots of cats.

Have you taken her to a vet? Behavior like this is often a medical condition and can be helped with the right treatment.

What Georgia said. If a cat has a bladder infection, it will often associate the painful act of peeing with the litter box, and find a smooth or soft or cool surface to pee on. If you've ever had a bladder infection, it hurts like a sumb!tch. It doesn't say that you've taken her to the vet and ruled out infection, etc., so we are all curious to know if you have done that.
