Cat of the Week: Abel

When you visit the Goathouse Refuge, there are some cats you are sure to meet because they are so out-going. Tom, Jerry, Lizzy, and Alex are among the cats who always run up to welcome our visitors. There are other cats who are just as friendly but you might have to walk around the Refuge to find them. One of these cats is Abel and it's well worth taking the time to look for this fine fellow (you can often find him relaxing along the fence next to the road).

Abel is a young orange tabby with an adorable round head. He's a handsome, sweet, and loving cat who loves to be held and will purr when you pick him up. He'll be a perfect lapcat for some lucky person. Abel is also a great choice for a family with children because he's so laid-back and gentle. He's a wonderful cat in every way - come meet him soon!

See more photos and a video of Abel.
